Mission

The MISSION of THE ART OF SAVING LIVES is nothing less than helping heal Ukrainian society: children, soldiers, refugees, women – from the emotional scars of war.

One of the first initiatives under THE ART OF SAVING LIVES umbrella is the HEALING GARDEN – a series of collaborative projects aiming to heal the victims of war through art therapy by stimulating all five senses, with intuition being the 6th sense.

Practically speaking, the healing with happen through art, dance, music, collaborative projects, culinary arts. Ideas and design of such projects will come from the vast and incredibly talented pool of Ukrainian artists who experienced war first-hand and have developed an intuitive understanding of the healing qualities of art, its dedicative approach to heal war traumas in many forms required from the healer.

THE ART OF SAVING LIVES will work with the authors of the project through its entire lifecycle. From concept validation to development, funding, promotion, physical execution and, if necessary, follow up and replication, we will be there to drive for the highest and most creative acts of healing and learn from the “Healers’ and the “Healed” alike.

Our mentees will learn to prioritize self-care, seek help when needed, connect with others in a supportive and nurturing environment, self-advocate, and turn to their innate life force and creativity that lies inside.

Our goal is to unleash this power through collaborative processes designed to promote art, beauty, and resilience. Our healing gardens will become sanctuaries of solace, peace, a sense of rejuvenation and union.
